Hemi-Sync© is a very powerful mind training tool, developed by Robert Monroe and team of the Monroe Institute. Hemi Sync stands for Hemispheric Synchronisation, or the Whole Brain State.
Training the Brain & Mind
With Hemi-Sync© you train your brain and mind, to achieve the mental states you desire. You learn to either focus your brain to peak performance and concentration, or to relax mind and body into deep calm and meditation.
You can use it to help you sleep, alleviate pain and accelerate the healing process. You can even use binaural beats to induce Out of Body states, enhance Lucid Dreaming or Remote Viewing. It is up to you, how you want to use it and what for.
A long list of benefits is the results of all the advantages reported by people, who have been using Hemi Sync on a regular basis either privately or professionally.
What is Hemi Sync
Hemi-Sync stands for Hemispheric Synchronisation and that is one of the technology’s immediate effects, which you can experience in the free Hemi-Sync trial. A brain synchronisation is beneficial as it creates a whole brain state.
How does Hemi-Sync work?
Binaural beats entrain the brain with certain frequencies, achieving different states of consciousness such as laser-like focus, super concentration, inspired state, over to relaxed states of mind to deep sleep.
How binaural beats entrain a human brain you can read in detail clicking on binaural beats explained.
At the Hemi-Sync Shop you can listen to free samples of almost all the different recordings. You will also find specific recordings which will help you enter altered states of consciousness, if you so wish. A very effective way to start exploring your mind.
How to use Hemi-Sync?
The most effective way to listen to binaural beats is over stereo headphones. If you are having a group meditation or a class room activity stereo speakers can be just as effective. Only make sure that all participants are sitting more or less in the middle of the two speakers.
Types of Hemi-Sync
There are three types of Hemi-Syc: Metamusic, Mindfood and Human Plus. These are subdivided by real life applications. Find out more about the Hemi-Sync Types here…
When I first tried it, I was a bit afraid of listening to sounds which could influence my brain. Soon I realized though that influencing my brain was only possible if I actually allowed it. This technology had some incredible lasting effects on me which you can read in my personal impressions of the Gateway Voyage.

About the Founder
The Founder Robert Monroe had a profound knowledge of sound and sound effects on people. He and his team experimented around with binaural beats and in 1975 created the Hemi-Sync technology.
In his first laboratory and later in the Robert Monroe Institute he and his team created exercise after exercise and tested his Hemi-Sync combinations on thousands of people.
Workshops & Courses
In the same year Bob Monroe decided it is time to share this with the broader public. First his team started holding workshops in the US and later he recorded specific exercises on tapes which people could buy. Today there are hundreds of Hemi-Sync titles which can help people achieve many different states of consciousness. Check out the ONLINE COURSES here.
Many people have reported great benefits from Hemi-Sync sounds. Achieving relaxation or meditation, even alleviating sleep problems or pain is a common result.
Note of caution:
First: Be very careful where you are getting binaural beat recordings from, because if they are mixed in the wrong way, they can cause you a feeling unease and even headaches. That is why I recommend the Hemi-Sync technology exclusively, developed by the Monroe Institute. They have been around since the early 1970ies and have a deep understanding of the cause and effect of brainwave entrainment.
Second: If you have epilepsy or a tendency to seizures binaural beat are not recommended for you.
